Here we are, 2017!! A new year usually means new goals. Every one is talking about resolutions and what they want to accomplish this year. Whether it be to eat healthier, read more, make more money, or lose some unhealthy weight the secret to success is consistency! We fail to accomplish our goals because we fail to be consistent.
We talk about it all the time at Hotmess. Be consistent!! Each day we have to do something that gets us closer to our goals. You have to create good habits and that requires you work at it consistently.

For example, we talk a lot about grateful journals here at Hotmess (seriously, if you don’t have one yet go get one!!). Being grateful has been shown to create all kinds of wonderful changes in people. But if you aren’t consistent in your gratitude it is a lot harder to keep it going. Hit or miss is better than nothing, but imagine if you consistently did it every day…the results would be amazing!! The same goes for any goal or habit you want to establish. Start today and make sure you set a side time each day to do it.
Consistency is key in creating good habits and reaching goals. Don’t let those new year’s resolutions fall to the floor, keep working at them. If you miss a day, don’t beat yourself up or decide it is too late, get back at it. Be consistent!!
