Laughter!! Laughter really is the best medicine! It is more than just a cliche thing we all say. It is scientific…laughing decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and helps fight infection. Laughter is also a great ab workout!

We have heard of endorphins…the things that make us feel good. Those are released as we laugh. We all love being around people that make us laugh. All the time we hear people say that one of the things they love about their spouse or their friends is that they make them laugh.

If you laugh a lot, when you get old your wrinkles will be in the right places.

*When we are feeling down, frustrated, overwhelmed, lonely, sad, irritated, angry, or whatever laughing can give us that instant lift. And if we find someone we love to share that laugh with it makes it even better.

So don’t allow yourself to wallow in the sadness. Get up, put a smile on your face, and find something to laugh about!!  There are things to be joyful about all around us!
